Mr. McNair was always the gentleman. Always kind to me that made me feel like a part of the McNair family. I call him Mr. McNair, because of the great respect I have for him. I used his first name once in addressing him, but it just did not feel right. I know he didn't mind at all, but it's simply the great respect I have for both Mr. and Mrs. McNair. I will miss him greatly. One of the great icons in my life is now gone. Rest in Peace. Steve Myers
I met Doug through the SPEBSQSA organization…the Barbershoppers, and there wasn't a finer Bass voice or quartet member to be found! Doug always had a smiling face and a kind word for each one he came in contact with…he will be greatly missed among our "earthly singers" – – but the HEAVENLY CHOIR now has a wonderful new member!!! Our hearts go out to the family – – Thank you so much for sharing your Husband, Father, Grandfather and "Father-in-Law" with all us Barbershop singers during his short stay here on Earth. God Be With your entire family. Harry and Loretta Rhodes

Doug was a devoted member of the Rotary Club of Park Cities for almost 24 years (1989-2013) and entertained the Club countless times with his barbershop quartet. He was a fine Rotarian and lived a life of ?Service Above Self?. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rotary Club of Park Cities Laurie Aldredge Club Administrator
