Shirley Embree Jackson
The Embrees always called him Dowell. I did not know his given name was McDowell, but I am delighted since that was a family
name. He was a first cousin to my mother Nora Currey Embree. When I was a teenager our Mother let Sue and I go spend a week with Aunt Addie. At that time McDowell was probably in the Navy. I am so glad you put this in the Dallas Morning News.
