Doyle D. Conine's Obituary
Doyle D. Conine, 81, passed away on April 28, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born on October 20, 1935, in Caddo Mills, TX to Doyle and Erma Conine, who predeceased him. Doyle graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas in 1954 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University in 1959. Doyle spent his career in banking, mortgage banking and real estate development in the Dallas area. Doyle began his career at Republic National Bank, moving on to construction lending at Oak Cliff Savings and Loan, and ultimately joined National Mortgage Corporation as a mortgage banker. After his banking days, Doyle was active in the development end of the real estate business, completing many projects in the Dallas and Denton areas. Doyle enjoyed numerous sports activities during his life, especially the game of golf, playing with friends at Denton Country Club for years. Doyle is survived by Maxine Jones, of Denton, TX, his son C. Kent Conine and wife Meg, of Dallas, TX, his daughter Karla Wilson and her husband Randy of Bryan, TX and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. We all cherished our times with him and will miss his great wit and personality. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on May 20, 2017 at Restland Memorial Park, Wildwood Chapel, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Denton Animal Shelter or charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
