Dr. Edwin J Lew's Obituary
Dr. Edwin J. Lew passed away on February 17, 2021 due to sepsis. Viewing/Visitation was held at Restland funeral home on March 3, 2021 at 3 p.m. Burial will be at The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. on March 4, 2021.
Edwin Joe Lew was born in Tucson, Arizona on January 21, 1945. He graduated from Tucson High and continued on to graduate from both the University of Arizona and the University of Oregon Dental School, with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.). He spent 2 years as a Captain in the United States Army, serving as an Army dentist.
Edwin was married to Christine Chau in July of 1972. They were married for almost 49 years. Edwin was a dentist for 47 years retiring in 2017.
Edwin loved to travel, spend time with his family, and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys! Edwin is survived by his wife Christine, children Elizabeth (John), Jaime (Chris), Brian (Annie), Jennifer (Yia), 10 grandchildren; brothers Stephen and Allen; sisters Victoria and Irene and countless family and friends. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Sue Lew.
