Dwain Harlan Warren's Obituary
WARREN, DWAIN HARLAN, was on July 8, 1934 in Odessa, TX and passed away March 6, 2008 in Dallas, TX. He attended college at TTU and financed his education by working in the oil field’s of West Texas. After college, he served his country proudly in the U.S. Army for 2 years. Upon honorable discharge, he went to work for the Masonite Corporation. He was recognized for his achievements with many awards and recognitions over the next 20 years. Following the Masonite Corporation, Dwain began a career as a self-employed manufacturers representative. Above all, Dwain’s love of his family was his primary focus. He was involved in coaching his son and daughter’s baseball teams, an active member of the FUMC-Richardson, an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling. Dwain is survived by his wife, Ann, of 52 years, two children; son, Craig and daughter Christie, son-in-law Mike Smolik, grandson, Brady Smolik; brother, Darrell and wife, Jean Warren; nephews, Michael Warren and Murray Warren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Methodist Children’s Home, Waco, TX or MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1500 Holcombe, Houston, TX. A memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Richardson, TX.
