E. Linda Farmer, 76, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 surrounded by her family.Born October 23, 1940 in Manchester, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walter Beamer II and Mildred Rusnell Beamer.Linda attended Manchester High School where she was the Lead Majorette and later attended Mount Union College where she met her life-long love and partner. After moving to Texas in 1971, she worked as an Administrative Assistant and in Purchasing for many years in the Oil and Gas Industry.She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Carl W. Farmer Sr. and is survived by her brother, Charles Walter Beamer III; daughter, Melanie Osborn and her two sons: Carl Farmer Jr. and wife Dana Farmer; Thomas Farmer and wife Janice Farmer, as well as four grandchildren: Christopher Osborn, David Farmer, Caitlin Osborn, Ashley Farmer Barbosa and her husband Nathan Barbosa.Family will be hosting visitation Friday, September 1, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel with Dr. Waco officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorials be made to Bright Focus Foundation for the research and cure of Alzheimer’s. http://www.brightfocus.org/donate/give-honor-or-memoryFuneral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
