Earl Ray Doss
Born December 25, 1930 in Dallas, Texas and passed away January 8, 2021, in Dallas, Texas.Ray served in the Navy during the Korean War. After graduating from North Texas University, he became an agent for the State Farm Insurance Company, retiring at the age of 85. Family was most important to Ray, he loved them all unconditionally and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his kids and grandkids. Whenever the Dallas sports teams were playing, especially the Dallas Cowboys, you’d find Ray watching the game and providing his armchair coaching. He also enjoyed golf, travel, reading detective stories, and the fantastic weather in southern California where he spent many summers. Ray loved chatting with anyone, he was always more than willing to strike up a conversation. It was said that Ray never met a stranger…he will be greatly missed.
