My dear brother. I have a lot of good memories of you. Like when we were kids playing in the dirt, playing games like the rolling tire race, walking on cans (we called Tom Walkers) and backyard basketball and playing with little green soldiers, we would line them for battle. As adults we would get our hands dirty fixing our broken down cars, replacing starters, break pads, transmissions, even replacing engines, yup these were the older cars, they were a bit easy to work on. We could actually see the part you wanted to fix. We call ourselves “shade tree” mechanics in those days. I know after you moved to Dallas you still showed a love for working with your hands and doing mechanical work for your family and friends. If heaven doesn’t have a mechanic, someone who can fix just about anything that has an engine, heaven has one now. Rest In Peace, Rest In Love, Rest My Brother.
