Earl Wesley Milliken Jr.'s Obituary
Earl Wesley Milliken Jr. was born August August 2, 1937, in Gordonville, Texas and passed away on February 16, 2017, in Terrell, Texas. He was 79 years old. Earl grew up in Dension Texas where he graduated from high school and then attended and graduated from Texas A & M University where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. He married Jo Anne Korenek on June 29, 1962, and worked as a logistics engineer at Rockwall Collins. Earl and Jo Anne moved to Terrell for retirement in 1998. He was a member of FBC Terrell and had numerous hobbies including woodworking, ham radio, bee keeping, gardening.and leather tooling. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl Wesley Milliken Sr and Hazel Sanders Milliken. Earl is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Milliken; daughter, Debbie and her husband Keith Arrington; son David and his wife Sherry Milliken; grandchildren Kyle, Grant and Hanna Arrington and Garrett and Heath Milliken; brother, John Milliken and his wife Pam.; sister, Elaine Pierce and her husband Bennie; brother in law Jim Korenek and wife Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 12:30 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Terrell Library located at 403 North Catherine Street, Terrell, TX, 75160.
