Eddie Zavala's Obituary
ZAVALA, EDDIE grandpa was called home and reunited with daughters Melva Wood and Zelma Zavala on September 27, 2012 at the age of 82. He was a humble man from humble beginnings, but what he lacked in material items, he more than made up for with his kindness and compassion for others. He loved antiques, crossword puzzles, cooking, and the Dallas Cowboys. He leaves behind a legacy of tradition and family values that spans 4 generations. He is survived by his wife Mary Pulido Zavala of 61 years, his youngest daughter Velma Briones; sons-in-laws, Teddy Viator and Juan Briones; grandsons David Salas, John Viator, Ed Viator, and JJ Briones; granddaughter Ashley Briones, and great-grand daughter’s Clarissa Briones. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in each of us until we are reunited with him in heaven. Visitation will be Saturday September 29, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 12:30 PM in Restland Abbey Chapel.
