Edgar Carl Meier's Obituary
Born on May 3, 1914 in Columbus, OH and passed away on January 17, 2009 in Dallas. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 40 years and retired a Lt. Col. From the U.S. Army after serving in W.W. II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Dallas Elks Lodge #71. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Meier, sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Karen Meier, and James and Sandy Meier. Also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda and Tom Alley as well as 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Service will be on Tuesday, January 20, at 12:30pm in Restland’s Memorial Chapel
