Edith Louise Marshall's Obituary
Edith Louise Marshall Edith Louise Marshall, a Dallas native and longtime resident of Highland Park, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Jones Marshall and brothers, Oliver A. Pearson, Jr. and Richard Duane Pearson. Mrs. Marshall had been a member of the former Greenville Avenue Christian Church and Eastern Star. For many years she served as a Camp Fire Girl leader and trainer as well as a docent at the Museum of Natural History, and for a time an active member of the Sierra Club. Mrs. Marshall was an avid camper and hiker. She enjoyed swimming, canoeing, and great outdoors in all kinds of weather. She especially loved children and sharing the appreciation of nature with them. Sketching, embroidery, and music were some of her favorite leisure activities. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Linda and John Harrison of Garland, Ron and Teresa Marshall of Liberty Hill, Mary Ann and Mike Knight of Garland, January and Tobin Moore of Waxahachie, Thom and Angel Marshall of Dallas, ten grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren, brothers; Jim Pearson of McKinney and Clarence Pearson of San Antonio, sister-in-laws; Ann Pearson, Elaine Pearson, Audrey Pearson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 4- 7 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
