Edith Mae Morgan's Obituary
Edith Mae Morgan, age 88, currently of Harmony Point Memory Care in Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2019. Edith was born to Algie Brigman and Eva Brown Brigman on September 14, 1930 in Russellville, Arkansas.She was married to Thurman O. Morgan for 50 years who preceded her in death. She is survived by her two sons, Thurman O. Morgan, Jr. and Ronald David Montgomery; daughter, Norma Lynn Carpenter; granddaughters, Nikki Willis and Christi Curfman; grandsons, Lewis Montgomery, David Montgomery and Brad Montgomery; as well as several great-grandchildren. She was the last of her four siblings and will be missed more than can be said by those of us she left behind. She was known by her youngest great-grandchildren, Ethan and Reagan Willis as GiGi.A loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Edith started in the grocery business, then was a banker for several years. Later in life she ran a law office in Dallas. In her 60’s, Edith went back to school to become a talented esthetician, a profession she enjoyed very much.Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas at 3:00 pm. There will be an hour of visitation immediately preceding her service.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Edith Mae Morgan have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Road, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243
