Edith Faye Ross was born on November 3, 1939 in Lamesa, Texas and passed away on November 26, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack Ross; brothers, Johnnie, James (Cotton), and Elgin (Butch) King. Edith is survived by daughter, Brenda Linney, son-in-law, David Linney; son, Jack Ross Jr.; sister, Margaret Warner; grandchildren Amy Marah Smith and William Colin Linney. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10 AM in the Wildwood Chapel, at Restland Funeral Home Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
