Edith Elizabeth Sissom's Obituary
“On Friday, August 19, 2022, Edith Elizabeth Sissom joined Alton Wayne who went to be with his Lord April 18, 2001. They are survived by three children: David Wayne and wife Margaret Virginia; Mark Alan and wife Cheryl Lynn; and Kathleen Elaine and husband William Brent Hoy.
Al and Edith were blessed with twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Edith and Al were longtime Dallas residents. Over her lifetime, Edith loved to surf fish, play tennis, sing in her church choir, cook, and visit with family. Edith had a generous heart and consistently helped her children and grandchildren with their education, goals, and dreams. She was immensely proud of her family and lived a life of unconditional love for all.
A private graveside service will be held for family.
