Edith Lenora Yost Cotter's Obituary
COTTER, EDITH LENORA YOST was born on August 5, 1919 in Lumberport, West Virginia to Calvin and Emma Yost. She passed away on August 18, 2013 at the age of 94 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Dossie A. Cotter. She is survived by her daughters, Carla Cotter, Nancy Jordan and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Joanna Jordan and husband, Craig Hanna, Anna Lard, Andrew Lard; and sister, Ruth Stark. Edith was accomplished in many things in life. She enjoyed working in civic affairs, politics, PTA, and church activities. She was innovative, creative and ahead of her time. She loved books and enjoyed reading. Her favorite book was the Bible and her favorite scripture was Psalm 91. She had many friends and family members who enjoyed engaging her in great conversations about life. Her quick wit and humor was an inspiration to all. She loved her grandchildren and showered them with love and support. Her fun loving attitude and mischievous spirit will be missed. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park.
