Edna Mae Lewis was born on January 31, 1926, in Newport News, Virginia and passed away on March 3, 2017, in Farmers Branch, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jacob Lewis; parents, Osborne and Edna Patterson; sisters, Irene Decker, Kathleen Taylor, Geneivieve Clark, Rosalyn Bell; brother, Osborne W. Patterson, Jr. Edna is survived by her five children, Doug Lewis, Linda Thompson, Eddie Lewis, John Lewis, Eric Lewis; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great- granddaughters; one sister, Carolyn and her husband Bob Holbert, from Greer, SC; two sisters-in-law, Ann Lewis Swaney, Theresa and husband LD Standfield both of Newport News, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul bearers will be grandsons, Chris Thompson, John Thompson Marshall Lewis, Eric Lewis Jr; sons, Eric Lewis Sr and John Lewis. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
