Edna May Martin's Obituary
MARTIN, EDNA MAY, born on January 19, 1919 in Dallas, Texas, passed away on August 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Minnie Ruff; her sister, Callie “Cat” Strickland; and her step-children, Jene and Charles Martin. She is survived by her sister, Gussie Hunt; her children, Marie Ridley, Frances Polk and her husband, O’Neil, and Guy Canova, II and his wife, Sherry; caregiver and special friend, Steve Ferguson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and host of friends . Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
