I had the great pleasure of working for and with Edna at Cedar Valley College for 22 years. We still kept in touch while she was at El Centro College afterwards. She was my mentor and dear friend. I learned so much from her. I still carry and promote her strong dedication to student and employee success with me today. She greatly influenced so many lives of students and employees of the Dallas County Community College District (now Dallas College) for 40 years -- Richland College, Cedar Valley College, El Centro College, and Brookhaven College. Edna, you will be honorably missed and always be in my heart!

Edna, you were such a dear, sweet friend to me and my mom. I just found a card you sent to my mom when we moved her to the nursing home. It was so sweet. My mom passed away on January 4 so you are near her as she is also at Restland. I know you are with her in Heaven and with the Lord. God bless you sweet lady!

Edna White was my hiring manager at Cedar Valley College. She was a kind, patient, and inspirational. She always led with integrity and excellence and gave her time and wisdom tirelessly. We kept in touch after she left Cedar Valley but regrettably the past couple of years seem to fly quickly without touching base. Rest in peace dear friend. It was my honor to know you. Much love!
