Edward Howard Charba Jr.'s Obituary
CHARBA, JR., EDWARD HOWARD born March 10, 1941 in Dallas, Texas and passed away October 30, 2012 at his home in Copper Canyon, Texas. Retiring in 2000 from his company where he was a very active president, Edward decided he was not ready for retirement and found a great hobby in woodworking and made many furniture items for his children and grandchildren. He also started taking lessons on woodturning becoming a very fine craftsman. He also had many other hobbies such as hunting, collecting corvettes, and was a member of Cross Timbers Artists Guild. Edward was preceded in death by his father, E. Charba, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Becky Elliott Charba; son, Howard Charba and wife, Melissa; daughter, Laurinda Payne and husband, Troy; 4 grandchildren: Cortney, Cari, Micaela and Savonnah; 3 step children; 8 step grandchildren; mother, Tina Charba; and brother, Joe Charba and wife, Carolyn. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 1st at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2nd at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
