When I heard the news about Ed, I was thunderstruck. Men who are larger than life just are not supposed to leave us! I have known Ed since I was a pretty young kid, and I reveled at his stories. I was always amazed at how he could spin a yarn, or keep a straight face while I stood there listening and wondering if I was hearing the truth or if I was swallowing the hook. Ed cared for people, made them laugh, and stood by them. He even loaned me his Caddy for my prom! Ed's memory will live as long as I do, and I will repeat many of the funny tales and antics to my own young boys (I said many, not all!). Ed, I'll never forget our many hunting trips together, the crazy poker games, the wild fun shared. You were one of a kind. I'm happy to have had you in my life. John Survil

I was hired by Ed and spent the next 20 years working for him at Flow Design and loving every minute of it. Very smart man and a great hunter went with him on several hunts and thoroughly enjoyed every trip. Great sense of humor and a great person. He will be missed. Ed was a friend for thirty years. I will miss him. We hunted ducks around the US,Canada,Mexico and Argentina. We fished Costa Rica,Florida and Texoma. We had season tickets for Rangers since 1995. I will miss him a lot. Tom Ingram

I was executive assistant to Ed (along with our two Bobs and Hoyt) for over 20 years…..I became very close to each of them and Ed was like a brother to me! He was the most kindest and caring boss anyone could ever hope to have; he was incredible !!!…. I am deeply saddened by his passing and will miss talking with him over the past years. – God bless his wife Rita, his three daughters and his grandchildren; all of whom he loved so very much.
