Edward Andrew Jewett, Jr., born on June 13, 1946 in Sommerville, Mass. The LORD took him home on August 3, 2019. He was 73 years old.He relocated to Miami, Florida when he was 4 years old. He spent his young years there and after graduating in 1965 he joined the U.S. Army. He served during the Vietnam era and was honorably discharged in 1968.Ed worked in the Automotive industry for 20 years. Ed loved his family and had many friends. He was a compassionate man and was always willing to help others. Whether he was on the phone or in person, Ed always had a fun time with his nieces and nephews. Ed enjoyed eating and didn’t miss many meals. When he was able, he enjoyed getting out on the golf course with his sister, Frankie and his brother-in-law, Bill. They shared lots of fun and laughs.Ed will be surely missed by his family and friends, but knowing Ed, he would want everyone to love one another, move forward, and enjoy the precious lives we have been blessed with.Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Court of Memories in Restland Cemetery.
