Edward A. Kistenmacher Jr.'s Obituary
Kistenmacher Jr., Edward A. was born on April 13, 1921 in Sulphur Springs, Texas and passed away on June 02, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Kistenmacher of Brookhaven, MS. Edward was the son of Eddie and Grace Kistenmacher. He married Billie Jean on October 22, 1950 in Brookhaven, MS. He graduated from UT, and then served in the Navy during World War II. In Dallas he worked for the Sun Oil Company as a petroleum engineer. Edward was a member of the board at White Rock Methodist Church and active in the Sunday School Class. He is survived by his sister, Betty Gideon of Sulphur Springs; sons, Edward and David Kistenmacher of Garland; daughter-in-law, Hope Kistenmacher; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
