Edward Earl Lang's Obituary
Born September 15,1942 in Fort Worth, Texas. He died at age 64, August 01, 2007. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Carmen Davis Lang and Edward Earl Lang Sr. He lived in Dallas, a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High, 1961. He attended North Texas State University, and Northeastern State College, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Ed worked at the Atomic Energy Commission and as a federal employee in Dallas. He was a longtime member and clergy of ECKANCAR, a religion of the Light and Sound of God. Ed was loved by many and will be missed for his sense of humor and uplifting spirit, and kindness. A courageous struggle with retinitis pigmentosa and his positive outlook set an example for many. His ashes will be interred at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth with an Episcopalian graveside service on Saturday, August 18, for family and friends. Survived by an uncle, Houston Davis of Fort Worth, and 11 cousins, family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dallas Light House for the Blind, Retinitis Pigmentosa Research, or ECKANKAR.
