I just found out about Ed's passing and I am so heartbroken. We just talked not to long ago about meeting for lunch. He was my dad's best friend at Highland Springs. We would always walk down and visit him. He and my dad would cut up with each other like brothers. Now they can tell their stories in heaven. RIP to a wonderful man who gave us many laughs.

We feel so fortunate to have had Eddie as a friend for so many years. He is just the most thoughtful, caring person! We , along with all his family and friends, will feel a big void in our lives. It is so sad and ironic that the person who always visited his friends in the hospital and brought donuts for the nurses would be denied visitors when he was in the hospital because of Covid. Our love and prayers go out to all the family. May all the joyful memories bring you comfort. We love you, Eddie!❤️

Ed Lott was my best friend for so many years he was best friend to everyone he knew. Always ready with a story or joke, he lit up any room. It will be strange without Ed, he is irreplaceable. Our son Mark loved Ed they had a fun game they played every time they saw each other, they would say “ freeze drop your pants”. It was a ongoing thing for them.
