Edward Henry Miller's Obituary
Miller, Edward Henry (Buster) age 80, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home in Dallas. He was born on February 11, 1934 in Dallas, to Houston Farrell Miller and Barbara Nell Miller. Edward was the oldest of 3 children. Edward married Dolores Hlavenka Miller and fathered 5 children. He was a lifelong resident of Dallas and was employed by Dresser Industries as a Tool and Die Maker for 39 years. Edward was a proud member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, shooting, and gunsmithing. He was an avid lifelong learner who enjoyed reading and history. In his most recent years his greatest joy was spending time and playing with his great grand children. Edward is loved and remembered by his children, Lillith and John Flemming, Barbara and Don Lawson, Terri and Don Magness, Lorrie Ford, and Kathleen Miller. He is also survived by one brother, Clayton Miller and seven grandchildren, Lila Cotran, Angel and Jeff Gooch, Crystal Kemp, Savannah Cotran, Edward and Sarah Lambring, Phoenix and Leo Lopez, and Raven and Frank Kuehn. He is also lovingly remembered by 8 great grandchildren, Edward Lawson, Summer Fant, Emily Kemp, Jordan Gooch, Evelyn Lambring, Indiana Kuehn, Elijah Lambring, and Arizona Kuehn. Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Miller and his brother, Wayne Miller. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
