I have many fond memories of times shared with Edward and Pauline. Their wit, love of life, compassion and generosity, and their dedication to their faith are just a few of their endearing qualities. I am forever grateful for their love for me and their grandson Jared and for always treating me like a daughter. Their light will forever shine in everyone who had the privilege of knowing them. I love them dearly and will miss them deeply. My heart finds comfort in knowing they are in Heaven and that I will see them again! -Karen Steyer

Ed and Pauline were among the first to welcome us to Texoma Lutheran Camp (Pottsboro TX) in the fall of 1983. They loved that camp and ministry before we did. We (with our children, Amy and Bryan) ended up loving them like our own family. They were such role models for Christian spouses and overall Christian living. We were blessed to have them in our lives and pray for God's comfort to the many who will miss them.
