PIERCE, EDWARD W. – Born December 24, 1942 in Dallas, Texas and passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. Edward is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Pierce; mother, Vivian Pierce; Uncle Fred and other aunts and uncles. Edward is survived by wife, Carolyn Pierce; brothers, Mike Pierce; Tim Pierce and wife Kay; sister, Mary Green; stepson and wife and three beautiful granddaughters, loving nieces, nephews and cousins, not forgetting the many wonderful friends. Ed loved and lived for the Lord, his wife, family, and friends. He was a musician at heart and brought beautiful music into our lives. He loved to laugh – he and Carolyn loved and laughed for 25 wonderful years of marriage. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
