Edward Henry Schmidt, age 82, born on March 7, 1934 in Springfield, NY and passed away August 19, 2016 in Richardson, TX. A resident of Richardson, Edward retired in 1989 after a long career with Texas Instruments, he was a member of the Richardson Masonic Lodge. Survived by his loving wife, Mildred for 63 years; daughters, Brenda Palmer and Cynthia Henry; and 3 grandchildren, Joshua Henry, Kayli Head, and Collin Stegar. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10 AM in the Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
