Ed was a joy to teach- witty, articulate, and fun-loving! He is lost to us much too soon but is certainly regaling the angels and saints with his stories and laughter. My sincere condolences to Ed's family. May God's peace comfort you in this time of sorrow.
Ed was such a special friend to me. He introduced hockey to me taking some friends and I to the inaugural Stars game, which was an incredible experience and I've been a fan ever since. I'll never forget our fun competitions in class. And I have always loved your entire family. You're with your dad now. So much love to your sweet mom and my prayers are with her, Heather, and your precious kids.
Carolyn, I am so sorry to hear about your son. There are no words to adequately express my sympathy for the profound loss you must be feeling. Please know that I am thinking about you and praying for your family. Nidia Parra

Ed was my step brother and my 3rd cousin(dad married his cousin's widow). Proud to call him my brother, always loved his quick wit and his humor.. he always brought so much happiness and smiles to any gathering.. love and will miss you Ed..
Ed was a hoot! He was such a good friend to me and called himself the "dog whisperer" because he'd come over and just roll around with my dogs. I'll miss him so much and will always treasure the times we did share. He was a kind, gentle, and loving soul who will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.
What a wonderful guy — I only have the fondest memories of Ed! My heart goes out the family, especially his beautiful kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you all for strength and peace.
I went to school with Ed (preschool – 8th grade) at Zion Lutheran. I hadn't seen him since high school but we did "reconnect" via FaceBook. His posts ALWAYS brought a smile to my face if not making me outright laugh. I am so sorry for your loss, he was way too young. I pray that God's peace will surround you all during this difficult time. RuthAnne (Darling) Wyble
