May you Rest In Peace! Ed thank you for everything that you taught me. I enjoyed seeing how much you loved Gloria. I know that Gloria was lost without the love of her life. I’m sure that you were waiting her with that beautiful smile and with loving arms.

I can honestly say that you are the best attorney. You always cared about your clients and would go the extra mile for all of them.

I’m sure that you’re with your buddy, Don Hinds. Your legacy lives on at Parish Day School and Church of the Transfiguration for all of the support that you gave Gloria while she was Head of the School for the 25 years. When people see the Gloria Hoffman Snyder Stadium at the High School it’s a reminder of all of the work and dedication that you both gave to your school and Church.

I will always cherish my memories of working for Hinds, Shahan and Snyder. The day you retired felt like I had lost a family member, but I was happy for you.

Ed was such a special friend to everyone, even years ago at the fraternity house. It was always fun to be around Ed and his low key friendship and humor was contagious. Loved by all which was a major accomplishment in a fraternity house in the 50's I think Ed and I were both at least semi serious students, but one may question that if they saw the hours we spent playing pinball at Hirsch Drug Store. A fond memory for me of fun times I spent Ed. He will be missed and I am so glad I was able to see him and visit with him recently at Ramsey's house. I have to add I went to junior high, high school and college with Gloria. That represents many years of friendship that I cherish. Thomas Taylor

Gloria, please know Clay and I send our thoughts and prayers during this time. We thought so much of Ed through the years and enjoyed seeing him now and then since Pop's passing in 1999. Somehow being with Ed always reminded us of Pop!! Many fun memories of those two. Take care, Lisa Hinds

What a kind, caring, sweet devoted man Ed was to Gloria, which made us all love and respect him more. I thank the Lord for Ed and Gloria who did so much in helping us raise our and so many other children at The Parish Day School.
