Edward James Vetter was born September 5, 1964 in Tenafly, NJ and passed away September 29, 2019 in Garland, TX.He was preceded in death by father Edward Vetter.He was survived by wife Soula Vetter and married 30 years, son Vasilios Demitri Vetter, mother Gladys M. Cashin, sister in law Sandy Arena, Paul, nephew Vincent Arena, mother in law Vasiliki Athanasiou.Eddie James Vetter was an incredibly talented bassist whose skills were far superior to many of his actual influences. As a member of Jade Diamond, his unique, innovative and melodic style was a major element of the band’s original material. Eddie was an excellent performer and bandmate who embraced his brotherhood with fellow members, Paul Fernandez, Don Herzog, Anthony Fontayne, Ziggy Wielgus and Brian Reskow – all of whom miss him dearly. He played and performed with passion and left nothing behind. He was a loving husband, caring father and a dear friend to everyone who knew him. His talents, passion for life and warm smile touched the hearts of many. He will be greatly missed.Family will receive friends Thursday October 3, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
