Dear LeTanya and Family,
I have recently learned of your father's death in January and want to share my condolences. I recall meeting you perhaps at the 2019 NASN conference in Colorado. You have done a great job following in his footsteps.
Your dad was truly a friend of school nurses. He was a joy to visit with. He has quite a repertoire of various talents and gifts. What a wonderful man.
Our organization truly appreciates his gifts of generosity and gentle, gregarious personally as he invited us to share what SNs need and visit with our colleagues. Both through NASN and NASSNC over the many years of visiting with him at conferences we learned of trends and shared what we anticipated in the coming year. But it was his delightful presence that I remember the most.
Thinking of you as your family adjusts to his empty chair and the many memories that you have to tell,
with care, Sharonlee Trefry MSN, RN, NCSN, Past President, National Association of State School Nurse Consultants, Hinesburg, VT
