Edwin Harmon, age 79, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, in Plano, Texas. He was born on Friday the 13th of September, 1938 to his loving parents Emma and Edwin Harmon. Edwin was the person who would always bring laughter into any gathering. He loved fishing, camping and was a remarkable artist and craftsman. He was very compassionate towards others. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 3 children. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Geneta Harmon, Three children, Tammy Harrell of Gun Barrel City, Texas, Terry Harmon of Bullard Texas and Traci Matthews of Gun Barrel City, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Service for Edwin Harmon will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 3:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements for Mr. Edwin Harmon have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
