Dr. Edwin E. Harrison, Jr. was a physician, medical association leader, father and husband who lived in Dallas throughout his life. He died peacefully at home on June 28 at 91 years old. Dr. Harrison estimated that he delivered Read Obituary
When I had no family to be with, Dr. Harrison sat me at his family table for Thanksgiving dinner.
I thank him and his family for the warmth and kindness.
You will all always be family to me. So was Dr. Harrison.

Back in 1973, Dr. Harrison comforted me as a very young, scared, expectant mom. He delivered my baby on March 16, 1974. At the time, I didn't think I wanted anymore children. Dr. Harrison talked me through waiting to make things permanent. In 1988, he delivered my second child and in 1991, my third child.
Dr. Harrison was such a gentle, compassionate person. I wish every new doctor could walk side by side with him to learn what he did so naturally. There will never be another "Dr. Harrison."
