Edwin F Stoppenhagen's Obituary
Edwin Frederich Stoppenhagen died peacefully in his home on Aug. 23, 2015 in Richardson, TX at the age of 97. Ed is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Stoppenhagen, his daughter, Cyndy Jaremko and her husband, Michael, his beloved grandson, Alex Jaremko, his brother, Norman Stoppenhagen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was born in Swiss Alp, TX to Martha and Martin Stoppenhagen. He had a long career with Aid Association for Lutherans in both Houston and St. Louis, before retiring to Richardson. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 12 PM at Messiah Lutheran, 1801 West Plano Parkway, Plano, TX. 75075. The family requests donations to be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
