Efe Osawemwenze Sr.'s Obituary
Efe Paul Osawemwenze Sr. was born on October 10, 1955, to the Family of the Late Agbonkpolor Osawemwenze of Udeni Village, Uhunmwonde local government area of Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated to glory on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
He immigrated to the United States to pursue his education at Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1983. He then began working in the hospitality industry in 1986, where he would start a long, respected, and successful career at Marriott. He held high positions in the security and loss prevention management departments and was awarded and honored for his skills, adaptability, and collaborative efforts.
More than his professional achievements, Efe was a beloved and admirable husband, son, brother, father of four, and most recently, a proud grandfather. His wisdom, kindness, humor, tenacity, joy, care, and love continue to shape and bless the lives of all those he called family, friends, and community.
During his spare time, he loved listening to hip-hop on the radio, watching John Wick movies and other classics, being outside basking in the sunshine, watching cartoons with his kids, and laughing harder than anyone else. He was an avid soccer, football, and basketball fan. He loved flexing his car knowledge and Spanish, hunting, and fishing and was a great storyteller, always ready to share a remarkable memory.
