Effie will always be an inspiration on how to enjoy living. Her humor and fiesty attitude will be missed. Friday's will not be the same. The staff at the Richardson Senior Center
Effie was the best and closest friend of my Dad (Pat Burke) for the last number of years, and I truly grew to love her like a mother. I can't express how much I will miss her but she will be in my thoughts for many years to come. She was definitely my hero and I only hope that I can live to 95 and be just like her.
