Efrain "Frank" Sanchez's Obituary
Efrain “Frank” Sanchez, 80.Born in Elgin, Texas on April 2,1938. He joined the Marine Corps in 1957 and soon after, became a drill instructor in San Diego, California. During his tour in Vietnam, he advanced into the officer ranks and retired as a Captain after 20 years of service.He was a successful real estate businessman for the remainder of his working career. Active in the Catholic Church, he was an avid golfer, a successful football coach in three states and a lifelong Texas Longhorn fan. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Amalia “Emily” Sanchez, son Larry Sanchez and wife Robin, son Mark Sanchez and wife Kelly, granddaughter Madelyn, step granddaughters Trista and Kiera, granddaughter Elena Garvey and husband Jameson and many other dear relatives. Preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Andrea Sanchez and two daughters, Vicky Ann Sanchez and Catherine Lynn Sanchez. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00am
