Bradley, Elaine Maxine born May 27, 1934 in Genoa, Texas and passed away June 4, 2015 in Garland, Texas. Preceded in death by father, Maxwell White Chappell and mother, Effie Elaine Chappell. Survived by husband of 63 years, Weldon Edward Bradley Jr.; brother, Terry Maxwell Chappell and wife Carol of Vacaville California; sister, Sharon Louise Johnson and husband Ron B. Johnson of Waxahachie, Texas; seven nieces and nephews. Graduated Greenville Texas High School 1951. Career: Purchasing Agent Base Exchange Oceana Naval Air Station, Virginia Beach, VA. Purchasing Agent Base Exchange Kwajalein Atoll. Republic National Bank – 17 years, Managing Officer, Auto Bank. Places lived: Virginia Beach, VA; Hutchinson, Kansas; Kwajalien Atoll, Marshal Islands; Naval Air Station Port Lyautey, French Morocco; South Weymouth, Massachusetts; Garland, Texas. She enjoyed needle work; quilting and reading. Christmas was her favorite holiday. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In Lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to, Elaine Bradley Scholarship Fund of the Garland Chapter of the NAACP; American Diabetes Association.
