CUMBERBATCH, ELAINE MARY FORBES Born February 26, 1923 in Gorgas Hospital Ancon, Canal Zone and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Plano, Texas. Preceded in death by parents, Edward S. Forbes and Anna Palmer; husband, Ivan Roy Cumberbatch; daughter, Yvonne A Erinna and son, Donald A. Ameer both children of her first marriage to Albert G. Ameer, also deceased. Survived by daughter Sheila Luisa Cummings; son in law, Raul E. Cummings; grandsons, Raul E. Cummings II and Rowhan E. Cummings and wife Tuwana Renee Cummings; great-granddaughter, Londyn Gentry. Elaine is also survived by her extended family in the United States and in Panama. Service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Memorial Chapel at Restland. Restland Memorial Chappell. She’ll be laid to rest in Gabriel Garden, Restland Memorial Park with her precious daughter Yvonne. Elaine will be dearly missed by family and also by a long list of friends whose lives she touched in her own special way, both here in the United States and in Panama.
