Some of my fondest summer memories include being at your house! I can still remember the smell of delicious roast cooking, completing jigsaw puzzles with you, the bell ringing as your backdoor opened, baseball playing on the television, and the joy of your company over many afternoons. You taught me to hook a rug at a young age, and I always felt so special when you introduced me to a new sewing craft, sent me a special card in the mail, or shared your puzzles with me. I will miss you, and your memory will live on as I teach my little girl puzzles and sewing crafts. I hung a beautiful wind chime near my front door in your memory. I told Penelope that we can hear your spirit in the wind; it is chiming now. I love you, grandma Elaine. May peace be with you, and your family. ~ Kendra
