I remember Bert as someone always so excited to bring new ideas to his grandchildren. He was a good father and grandfather. We had many good conversations about education over the years. The last time we were with him, he had volunteered to take photographs of my mother-in-laws 90th birthday celebration. He did a beautiful job and his pictures were used to put together in a special commemorative book for her.

A really great friend of mine Elbert Berton Greynolds passed away recently. I met him at my shop 8 years ago and had become really good friends with him since. He's was a professor of accounting at SMU and retired with top honors. It was a pleasure assisting and nurturing his incredible love of photography. He was, in fact, instrumental in bringing in several brands in my shop. Master hobbyist I always enjoyed seeing the different models he built or things he collected. His wife Ann is awesome, my daughter loved going over to their house she was a lot like my grandmother. I would be upstairs helping Burt with his computer or printer and I'd always here laughter coming from downstairs. Always brought out the coloring books and made cookies.. Oh dear.. Will meet him as a friend in Heaven one day, until then he will be incredibly missed. -Thomas Myint Friend
