Eldon "Mo" Holman's Obituary
Mr. Eldon "Mo" Holman, age 93, of Garland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Mo was born to Mr. Robert Virgil Holman and Ms. Cora Gertrude Bryson on Monday, April 29, 1929, in Vernon, Texas.
Mo graduated from The University of Texas with an Engineering degree and went on to work at E Systems.
He married Iris Winona Williams in 1952, They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in June of this year. They had two children Morris and Doug Holman. He retired from E Systems in 1984 and enjoyed traveling, cars, family and many different types of puzzles.
He was predeceased by his parents, 4 siblings and his son Morris Eldon Holman, Jr.
Mo is his survived by his wife, Iris; son, Doug and his wife, Beverly; daughter-in-law, Anne; grandchildren, Amanda Volz and her husband, Tanner, Ryan Holman and Adam Holman; great grandchildren, Hadley Holman, Sloan Volz, Sutton Volz and Stella Volz.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Eldon "Mo" Holman will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Restland's Wildwood Chapel. Interment, with military honors, will be at 2:00pm on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery
Mo leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
