Eleanor Wilson Burch's Obituary
born May 18, 1914. Died April 12, 2008. Preceded in death by husband Bill Burch and eldest daughter, Mary Eugenia ‘Genie’ Bynum. Survived by three children, Billie Anne Connor and Son-in-law, David, Gene W. Burch and wife Reba, W.W. ‘Buddy’ Burch and wife Donna; and eight grandchildren; Cherie Snell, Scott Bynum, Troy ‘Beau’ Bennett, Bryan Bennett, Shawn Burch, Eric Burch, Jennifer Milam and Misty Burch, and 13 great-grandchildren. Graduated from North Dallas High School, 1932. Retired from Baylor Hospital after 25 years of service as division secretary at the Women and Children’s Bldg. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Dallas and also became a member of First Baptist, Dallas. A member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Baylor. Also active in the Eastern Star, A.C. Garrett Lodge and The B# Ladies Auxiliary of the Hella Temple Shrine Band. In lieu of donations, her request that donations be made to the Scottish Wright Crippled Children’s Hospital or The Shrine Hospital for Burn Victims. Visitation will be Monday, April 14 from 6-8 pm, at Restland Funeral Home, with service on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 am in the Restland Wildwood Chapel. Interment to follow service. Pallbearer’s: Troy ‘Beau’ Bennett, Bryan Bennett, Shawn Burch, Eric Burch, Scott Bynum and John Snell.
