Mrs. Cooper was a very special lady in my life .I was blessed to have known her for over 50 years. She will be truly missed .Until then you will rest in a special place in my heart .I will see you and our Lord and Savior and Mr. C …One day .I love you so much no good byes. ..just a see you later my dear sweet precious friend
Mrs. Cooper was my Sunday School teacher when I was 11 years old. She didn’t use the quarterly but taught from the Bible. God used her to help me develop a hunger and fascination with studying His Word, something I still love to do to this day! I found out she was still praying for me even when I was in college when she substituted for my mom’s class. I was amazed at her faithfulness to her students years after we were in her class! I asked her if she would mentor me for a summer. She agreed, and I treasure the Sunday afternoons she spent with me answering my questions by digging in the Bible and sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge. What an encouragement she was! I have lived all over the world since I married 37 years ago, and I have led many women’s Bible studies and a few children’s classes (children are more of a challenge for me ??) . My prayer is that I pass on Mrs. Cooper’s legacy of making the Bible exciting and relevant! I carry a picture of her in my Bible and have continued to pray for her and visited her when I could. I am so thankful that I knew her and will see her again one day in Glory! She is free from pain and reunited with Mr. Cooper and home with her Savior! Thank you, Mrs. Cooper, for being such a godly example and investing in me! I love you!
