Eleanor Lucille King Kirkby's Obituary
KIRKBY, ELEANOR LUCILLE Daughter of Dr. Robert. King and Bessie King, born October 9, 1912, in Chicago, Illinois, received the gift of Eternal Life on January 21, 2011. Eleanor was preceded in death by husband, Ted and son, Robin. She is survived by her daughter, Jayanne Slaughter; step-daughter, Teddi Weil and husband Chris; and step-son, Tim Kirkby and wife Peggy. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren from the Dallas area and Republic of Panama. Eleanor requested there be no memorial service because of the distances of the families involved, but rather “Those who choose to remember me in their prayers or meditations may do so in their own way with my gratitude.”
