Eleanor Bernice Mclaughlin's Obituary
Eleanor Bernice McLaughlin was born on December 14, 1936, in Pilot Point, Texas, to Francis and Minnie Mox. She passed on October 28, 2024, in Sunnyvale, Texas.
On June 27, 1952, Bernice married Kenneth, her beloved husband of 65 years. Adoringly called "Granmommy" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bernice was her family’s biggest fan, often attending multiple sports and school events over the course of the same weekend to show her love and support.
Bernice is welcomed in Heaven by her husband, Kenneth; her parents, Francis and Minnie Mox; her grandsons, Jared, Duane, and Daniel; her great-granddaughter, Evee Lyn; her grandson-in-law, Jonathan; and her siblings, Francis Gattis, Bobby Mox, and Clifford Mox.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Brad); her sons, Gary, Chuck (Bonnie), and Greg (Frances); her grandchildren, Jason (Christie), Cara, Kendra (David), Steven (Danielle), Michael, Chris (Alyssa), Lauren (Shane), David (Cortni), Kevin (Kenna), and Mark (Kaylee); and her great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Amelia, Andrew, Blake, Brynlea, Berklea, Carter, Chaney, Charli, Collin, Cylie, Emma, Ethan, Hadley, Lorraine, Matthew, Tripp, and Walker. She is also survived by her siblings, Betty Blassingame (Larry), Mary Reeves, Kenneth Mox (Robbie), her sister-in-law, Mary Mox, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Restland Memorial in Dallas, Texas, with services immediately following in Memorial Chapel.
