Eleanor Gertrude Steudte's Obituary
Steudte, Eleanor G. Of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on September 20, 2013. She was born on June 12, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, the oldest daughter to Gertrude and Lawrence Skillman. Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents; loving sister, Janet and loving husband, Gerard. Eleanor cherished the retail industry beginning as a model for Bonwit Teller and continuing her career through the many changes of Sanger Harris, Foleys, Lord &Taylor, and Macys, of which she was consistently awarded the Top Sales Producer in the firm. She leaves behind a legacy of great devotion to family and love for others. She is survived by her three children, Karen Ercoli, Gary Steudte, Diane Bastow and husband, Ken; four loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, John and Lauren; and great-grandson, Thomas. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carter Blood Bank.
