Eleanore Louise Cesander's Obituary
You may not be able to change circumstances, but you CAN control your attitude. This along with God’s grace, I try to live my life. Eleanore Cesander, October 2006. Born the youngest child to Joseph and Clellie Peden on April 23, 1924 in Mobridge, South Dakota. She passed away October 17, 2009 in Carrollton, Texas. Eleanore is survived by her two sons David and his wife Judy, and Larry and his wife Patty Lynn; four grandchildren: and Garrett Cesander, Abby Cesander, Angela Cesander, and Mark Cesander. She was married in Aberdeen, South Dakota to her highschool sweetheart, Paul Cesander, on August 9, 1945. On their honeymoon in Minnesota, VJ-Day was cleared. Paul preceded her in death on February 23, 2003. She is also preceded in death by a son, Steven Cesander. Eleanore served in the US Navy Rank HA 1/Class WAVES, and was Faith Lutheran. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held in Eleanore’s honor at 3:00 pm, Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel, with interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park, Garden of Holy Family.
